Both the rave and cannabis cultures were forced into the shadows – misunderstood, criminalized, and outlawed by society. For decades, association with either could cost you your reputation, your freedom, even your future. So these worlds were created in secret: hidden rooms, abandoned spaces, remote fields, backyards, and garages. Kept alive by the brave souls who dared to believe in the joy, healing, connection, and freedom they offered.
